The Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights of the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR), chaired by Maria Khoury, discussed a proposal on holding a discussion session to comprise a number of families of persons with disabilities and representatives from competent authorities to ensure rights of persons with disabilities are properly delivered.

The meeting also discussed staging visits to social care centers to make sure services are provided in accordance with international standards.
