Hussain bin Ibrahim Al Hammadi, Minister of Education, has participated in the sessions of the fifth Arab Conference of Robotics and Artificial Intelligence and toured the scientific and technical exhibition being held on the sidelines of the conference.

He thanked the organisers of the conference and praised the excellence of the working papers and the constructive scientific discussions, besides the large audience of school students and their participation in the various workshops.

He noted their contribution in supporting the UAE in science, technology and innovation, and representing the national institutions by holding scientific and technical conferences to accelerate the country’s achievement.

Al Hammadi expressed his happiness about the visit, where he was introduced to new ideas and exceptional papers that would contribute towards enriching the educational field with new ideas, in line with the continuous development taking place in the UAE, which would contribute to achieving more co-operation with other countries. He observed that science was not limited to the UAE, and other Arab countries could benefit from these exceptional experiences and conferences, such as Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, Oman and Kuwait, among others.

He emphasised that the UAE sought to be No. 1 in promoting positivity and a knowledge-based approach among all its nationals, and noted that the educational system in the Emirati schools would consider these aspects, and implement new and innovative methods to motivate students.

He remarked that the development of education needed more effort and time, and pointed out that the ministry had managed to achieve great progress in the last three years.

He underscored that all the UAE nationals were working as one team to make the UAE Vision 2021 a success, as the country adopted a new strategy for 'the UAE centennial 2071' that was launched by Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. He also affirmed the need for investment in technological education and to build a system of Emirati values among the new generations.
