Bahrain Weightlifting Association has congratulated the Wise Leadership on the occasion of Bahrain’s achievement of nine medals during West Asia Weightlifting Championship2017.

The Association’s deputy chairman Sultan Al Ghanim congratulated HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa the representative of HM the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Youth and Sports and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee, on the achievement by Bahraini athlete Zahra Hassan Mahfouz that boosted the morale spirits of all national team players to achieve more medals.

Bahrain National Weightlifting Team has begun its participation with Zahra’s bagging nine medals in the West Asia Championship for adult, and junior weightlifters, taking place in the Jordanian capital Amman on October 24-28.
