His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa today received at Al-Sakhir Palace US Ambassador William Roebuck and Vice Admiral Kevin Donegan, Commander of the U.S. Naval Forces Central Command and Commander of the U.S. 5th Fleet, and reviewed historic bilateral relations.

HM the King hailed solid strategic relations binding the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States of America and steadily-growing relations in all fields, commending long-standing ties which are based on trust, mutual respect and joint coordination.
HM the King said he looked forward to meeting US President Donald Trump, hoping the GCC-American summit would yield positive and fruitful results that consolidate strong partnership, serve strategic interests and bolster regional and international security and stability.
HM the King hailed the pivotal US-led role to maintain regional security and stability and protect global peace.
