His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa today sent a cable of condolences to Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto over the victims of the devastating earthquake, which struck his country, leaving hundreds of people dead and injured.

HM the King extended his deepest sympathy, expressing confidence in the ability of the friendly Mexican people to overcome the human tragedy. In the cable, HM the King also wished Mexico further security and stability.
