His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has received a cable from Housing Minister, Bassim bin Yaqoob Al-Hamar, on being granted the Shield of the Federation of World Peace and Love (FOWPAL) in recognition of his landmark contributions to promoting the traditions of peace, tolerance and diversity.
The minister extended deepest congratulations to HRH the Prime Minister on the global honour conferred on him, noting that the well-deserved prestigious award is the fruitful outcome of the Premier’s endeavours to promote peace efforts, as well as of his adoption of the peaceful co-existence policies and visions in the kingdom.
Al-Hamar stressed that the FOWPAL Shield adds to Prime Minister’s rich record of regional and international awards bestowed on him in recognition of his widely-appreciated distinguished international status, which, he said, is a source of pride for every Bahraini citizen.
He prayed Allah the Almighty to bless HRH Premier with abundant health and happiness, and to guide him on the right path for the best interests of Bahrain and its people.
