His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa issued Royal Decree 54 of 2017 appointing Shaikh Talal bin Mohammed bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa as Deputy Interior Minister with the same rank.

Under the Royal Order, the newly-appointed Deputy Interior Minister shall act on the minister’s behalf in performing his duties and attending the Cabinet meeting during his absence.

The Interior Minister shall implement the provisions of this decree which takes effect from the day of its publication in the Official Gazette.
