The Ministry of Health has won the Best Government Award for Best Practices

The Ministry of Health has won the Best Government Award for Best Practices in acknowledgement of its early detection of non-communicable diseases project.

The distinction was announced during the Government Forum 2017, which opened today under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa.

Health Minister Faeqa bint Said Al-Saleh expressed delight at the award, paying tribute to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier for launching the Government Forum initiative.

She commended the Primary Healthcare Directorate for the outstanding result, wishing its medical personnel continuous success to honour the ministry and promote the standing f Bahrain in all medical arenas.

She extended deepest congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, HRH the Premier and HRH the Crown Prince for the success of the 2nd edition of the Government Forum 2017.

In a statement on the sidelines of the event, she hailed the wise leadership and the Government for their tremendous support to developing the health sector and enhancing the medical services.

The minister stressed the importance of the Government Forum 2017 which convened following directives from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa to continue strenuous work to set development priorities.
