The ERC today distributed food aid to students living in the dormitory of the Health Institute in Seiyun District in the Hadramaut Valley, as part of its rescue campaign to assist the local student’s halls of residence and the UAE’s ongoing support for the education sector in Yemen.
Eng. Hassan Baqmaish, Supervisor of the ERC Projects, oversaw the process of aid distribution to the institute, which offers many healthcare services and trains local medical personnel, especially from remote regions.
Ahmed Al Neyadi, Deputy Head of the ERC Team in Hadramaut, stated that the assistance was provided to answer the needs of the students in their residence, who are suffering from tough economic conditions, especially with regards to obtaining supplies of food.
He also highlighted the ERC’s desire to continue its humanitarian projects and deliver rescue aid to everyone in need in the various districts of Hadramaut, which represents its spirit of brotherhood and solidarity with the people of Yemen.
Dr. Mohammed Lurdi, Director of the Health Institute in Seiyun, thanked the ERC for its continuous support for the institute. He also thanked the UAE’s government and people for their efforts to ease the suffering of the Yemeni people, during the challenging times being witnessed by their country.
The students expressed their happiness at the humanitarian aid, and they thanked the UAE for its continuous support.
