. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council

H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, stressed that Emirati women have demonstrated their ability to positively participate in the process of cultural development and the renaissance witnessed by the UAE since its establishment, through their active participation in community services and their leadership while performing their many national duties.

Sheikh Humaid congratulated women on Emirati Women’s Day, and expressed his appreciation for their pioneering, their efforts while working in various positions, and their prominent role in accomplishing many achievements, alongside their male partners, in the development process.

Sheikh Humaid also praised the role of H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women's Union, Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation and President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, in supporting women and encouraging them to participate in the cultural renaissance witnessed by the nation.

He also confirmed that celebrating Emirati Women’s Day is a reflection of the high status attained by the Emirati woman, since the establishment of the UAE. The role and position of women in society were realised through the major opportunities provided to them in education and work, and their ability to become active partners and their support to the development process, he added.

"We are proud of what the Emirati woman has received in appreciation and respect, both locally and internationally, and the excellence of their performance," Sheikh Humaid further added.

He also praised their role and capabilities to represent the country in international forums, and he attributed their achievements to the support, wise leadership and vision of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and their brothers, The Rulers of the UAE, as well as the nation’s continuous desire to promote the essential role of women, to strengthen their position and enable them to become a partner in the country’s comprehensive and sustainable development process.
