Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos, recovering from prostate cancer surgery Wednesday, tweeted "everything went well." Santos, 61, who disclosed Monday he had been diagnosed with non-aggressive prostate cancer, had the tumor removed by doctors at Santa Fe Foundation medical clinic in Bogota, Colombia Reports said, citing local media. "Thank God everything went well and I am recovering satisfactorily," Colombia Reports said Santos posted on Twitter after the procedure. "My family and I are very grateful for all your support." Santos, who was put under regional anesthesia in the lower half of his body for the operation, is expected to remain hospitalized for two to three days.
