Education Minister Majid bin Ali Al Nuaimi has commended the role of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, wife of HM the King and President of the Supreme Council of Women in sponsoring women’s general issues and interests in all fields.

Dr. Al Nuaimi said that thanks to Her Royal Highness's encouragement, the Bahraini women were able to prove their proficiency, assume responsibilities and contribute their fair share in the nation’s progress through effective participation to achieve national sustainable development goals (SDGs). 

The minister's statement marked the Bahraini Women's Day as he attended Al Orooba Primary Girls' School morning lineup in which students with special needs participated as part of the ministry's inclusion policy implemented in governmental schools aimed to provide education to all apt-to-learn children.

The minister expressed his gratitude and appreciation to all administrative and teaching staff and parents of students on the occasion of the school’s obtaining (excellent rating) in the Quality of Education and Training Authority (BQA)’s audit report for three years consecutively
