Birzeit University in Palestine The Red Crescent Authority (RCA) gears up to provide a financial support worth AED 7.360 million to Birzeit University, Palestine. The support aims to strengthen the University's academic capabilities in addition to solving its financial crises, due to the economic conditions, being witnessed by Palestine.
The move comes in implementation of the directives of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in the Western Region, Chairman of the RCA. The directives come in response to the request of the University to the RCA.
Dr. Hamdan Musallam al Mazrouei, RCA Board Chairman emphasised that the directives of Sheikh Hamdan come in the light of the U.A.E'.s humanitarian initiatives towards the Palestinians in various educational, health, social and services domains.
He added that Sheikh Hamdan gives much care to the humanitarian conditions, and closely follows up the events in the Palestinian arena and their impact on the lives and conditions of Palestinians as well.
