The Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation organised its second ceremony on Sunday to honour 509 co-ordinators and supervisors in Dubai, Sharjah, Umm Al Qaiwain and Ras al-Khaimah, who support its educational programmes.
The ceremony, in its tenth year, was held at the foundation's hall in Ajman, in the presence of Mohammed Haji Al Khouri, Director-General of the foundation, Abdulrahman Al Hammadi, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Education for Control and Support Services, and a number of prominent figures from the education sector.
Al Khouri extended his appreciation to H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs and Chairman of the Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, for supporting its initiatives, especially those related to assisting students, locally and abroad.
He also said that the country would not have reached this advanced position without the establishment of strong pillars for developing the educational sector. He stressed the importance of plans that keep pace with changes in this vital sector.
