The Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation held the fourth honouring ceremony in Fujairah on Tuesday, recognising 198 co-ordinators and supervisors working in the schools and higher education students’ support project at the Fujairah educational zone, Khor Fakkan office, and technology colleges.
The ceremony was held at the foundation hall in Fujairah, in the presence of Mohamed Hajji Al Khouri, Director-General of the foundation, as well as several educational leaders and respected citizens.
In his speech, Al Khouri praised the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and the support of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, on helping students during their educational journey.
He also thanked H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Presidential Affairs and Chairman of Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, for his full support to the foundation’s initiatives. He particularly praised the initiatives addressing education as one of the main pillars of the foundation’s strategy in the UAE and abroad.
Al Khouri stressed that this is the 10th year in a row that the foundation is supporting students. He credited the assistance of the wise leadership and the fruitful co-operation of all the partners including the Ministry of Education, the Abu Dhabi educational institutes and various public universities in the country, for the success of the initiative.
He praised the participants of the project for their efforts and their exceptional role in reaching out to thousands of students in public schools and higher education every year.
A total of 198 co-ordinators and supervisors, males and females, were honoured at the ceremony.
