Quadrofoil electric watercraft

A futuristic new electric personal watercraft is making waves in the design world.
"Quadrofoil" is a zero-emission hydrofoiling machine, which claims to offer the most economically efficient and environmentally friendly mode of recreational marine transportation.
Capable of reaching speeds of up to 40 km per hour and with a range of up to 100 km, the Quadrofoil is suitable for use on lakes, rivers, seas as well as marine protected areas where most motor boats are banned.
The battery-powered watercraft works via an electric outboard motor propulsion and special steering system allowing it to "fly" on the surface of the water.
The technology also stabilizes the vessel, making it responsive to the water and preventing drifting. An airtight top module and foil hydrodynamics make the watercraft "almost unsinkable", according to the Slovenian-based team.
Quadrofoil is currently available for pre-order, with the first limited edition first series due to be shipped in March 2015.
