The German tuning company Gemballa announced the availability of two more Mirage GTs, the last in a limited edition of 25 cars introduced in 2006. These final models offer 670hp and additional aerodynamic carbon fiber body modifications.
Based on a Porsche Carrera G, the Gemballa Mirage GT was initially produced from 2006 to 2007. For the last two models in the series, Gemballa has taken the 5.7-liter, 10-cylinder engine from 612hp to 670hp, allowing the car to go from 0 to 100km/h in 3.7 seconds and to reach a top speed of 335km/h.
The two cars have also been updated with new modifications to its lightweight carbon fiber body, further enhancing performance. New aerodynamic features including a prominent rear spoiler are designed to improve handling.
Gemballa also announced the next generation of the Mirage, another limited series of 25 cars, based this time on the Porsche 918 Spyder hybrid. The German brand boasts that this forthcoming model "may well become an even more exclusive counterpart to McLaren's P1 and Ferrari's LaFerrari."
