Ramy is excited to be working with singer Haifa Wehbe Cairo - Mohamed Al Masri Lebanese singer Ramy Ayach has revealed that his upcoming duet with songstress Haifa Wehbe “is nearly ready for release.” In an exclusive interview with Arabstoday, Ayach did not specify the exact release date of the record but insisted that both he and Wehbe are “waiting for the right moment.” Speaking about the duo’s upcoming performance at Egypt’s iconic Opera House, Ayach said: \"I want it to be a surprise for the listeners. (Wehbe) has a lot to offer as an artist.\" \"Singing at the Egyptian Opera House launched my career in Egypt,\" he said, \"I owe Cairo a lot and I\'m very proud to have been the youngest Arab singer to perform on the Opera House\'s stage. It\'s a great honour and it really elevates me, which is why I\'m always extremely cautious about every step. I\'ve even discounted films for a while to dedicate myself to my career as a singer.” \"I\'ve had a lot of offers, but I\'d rather wait for something fantastic,\" added Ayach. Ayach also spoke about his recent spat with legendary Lebanese singer Fadl Shaker, who he criticised for retiring from music on religious grounds, despite years of working together. At the time, Shaker refused to respond to Ayach’s \"insults,\" saying he still harboured respect for their times as colleagues. “Everyone makes choices that they will eventually have to pay for, especially if these choices are what works for them,” said Ayach. Speaking about his massively successful duet with Adawiya, entitled El-Nas El-Rayaa (Cool Folk), Ayach said: \"It was a brilliant and successful project and I hope we get to repeat it. Adawiya is a great artist with a wonderful presence and I\'ve learnt a great deal from his vast experience as a performer.\"
