The show has received poor ratings and Tarek as been criticised for his performance, when asked about this he stated “I hope the series next year will be better, we do not want supervision on the media in general, we overthrew Gaddafi’s regime because we want to enjoy freedom.”
As for the Libyan street poll, Mohamed Abdel Moaly told Arabstoday: “Ramadan programs this year are very weak, but we hope it will be better in the next years, the Ministry of Culture should support the media in general and strength the political side of art and approve criticism even if targets president.\"
Abdel Moaly refers to one of the most highly regarded of this year\'s dramas “Kellya wa Democratya” (Minority and democracy) which deals with the political party\'s projects and how to establish them and the program of national reconciliation.
In this regard, actor Omar Qarqoum said to Arabstoday “we did not take any support from the country in this series, pointing to that is was done by our efforts and the efforts of some good people in the area, who stay beside us to achieve success.\"
