Iraqi oil tanker An Iraqi Oil Ministry spokesman, announced Wednesday, that an oil maritime site was discovered in Iraqi territorial water. Assim Jihad added to Aswat al-Iraq that it is expected to propose the site in the coming oil bids. This is the first oil site out of the Iraqi land limits.
The site was numbered 18, but not exploited due to the mines available there, which made it impossible to work in, Jihad added.
