The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Community Development has published five new books written by young Emirati talent examining subjects in social issues, health and education.
This comes as part of the Ministry's aims to bolster support for local talent and increase their presence in the U.A.E. literary market.
One of the publications, a series of short stories entitled, "Kuzama", was written by a group of authors reflecting their daily experiences, emotions and reactions in daily social situations.
Another, entitled, "Captured Daydreams", by Khola Al Gaithi, is a collection of thoughts that talk about optimism, hope, the past and the future and love for the nation.
Nora Al Tuneiji wrote a series of stories which examined the inspiring ways that women have found to overcome hardships in life, while other publications include a study about strategies on how to raise children to love their nation and the leader, by Maryam Al Mansouri, and a medical book by Ayesha Al Hujairi, which examines modern day diseases like diabetes and various cancers.
