Zamalek qualifies in African Handball after winning 29-23 against the Algerian Skikda
The Egyptian handball team Zamalek qualified for the finals of the African Handball Champion League, after winning 29-23 against the Algerian Skikda in the semi-final.
The White Knights played amazingly well in the first half of the game
, leading with 13-8.
The title holder gave an outstanding performance throughout the tournament which enabled it to participate in the finals and getting the chance to maintain the title for the second time in a row, despite the crises experienced by the team and financial disputes with the management board.
On the other side, Al-Ahli met Espérance Sportive de Tunis on Friday evening in the second meeting of the semi-finals of the African Handball Champions League held in the Moroccan city of Tangier.
The final match will be held on Saturday. Zamalek should return to Egypt on 25 of this month.
