Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, has presented the UAE President's Cup to Al Wahda Sports Club who beat Al Nasr Sports Club 3-0 in the championship final at Zayed Sports City Stadium.
He congratulated the club's administration, fans and footballers while presenting the cup to the team's captain.
He wished UAE football further progress and achievements both at the regional and the international arenas.
Those who attended the celebration included H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai; H.H. Sheikh Dhiyab bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of Al Wahda Sports Club, Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development; Sheikh Rashid bin Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of Al Nasr Sports Club; Marwan bin Ghalaita, President of the UAE Football Association; Khalifa Saeed Sulaiman, Director-General of Dubai Protocol and Hospitality Department, along with youth and sports leaders.
