England cricketer Ian Bell
Ian Bell said on Tuesday that he was looking to carry on from where he left off, as Ashes holders England bid to go 2-0 up in their five-match series against Australia in the second Test at Lord\'s this week.
Bell struck the only century of the match as England just did enough to beat Australia by 14 runs in a thrilling first Test at Nottingham\'s Trent Bridge.
Bell\'s second innings 109, made with England under pressure, was arguably the Warwickshire right-hander\'s best Test innings, helping the hosts set Australia a target of 311.
\"Yeah, definitely. I\'m very happy to contribute to the team at the right opportunity and I\'m hungry for more,\" Bell told Sky Sports on Tuesday.
\"That\'s in the past now and the important thing is what happens in this next Test match and if I can contribute again to us winning a Test match then that\'s what I\'ll be doing in preparation over the next two days to make sure I can do the same again for England.
Bell added: \"We were excited. We thought it was a great Test match, every player enjoyed it. Let\'s hope the next one is exactly the same.\"
The second Test starts on Thursday.
