The buses carrying the gunmen left Barzah district of the Syrian capital of Damascus heading to the northern area of Syria, while other buses moved from Qabon district to the same area with hundreds of people. Meanwhile, In the countryside of Damascus, violent clashes broke out between the opposition factions and Syrian forces on the outskirts of the town of Ash'ari in the eastern Ghouta amid shelling by the latter on the area, while the city of Duma was also artillery shelling.
Warplanes bombarded several areas in Maskana town, in the eastern countryside of Aleppo, while clashes continued between regime forces and the Islamic State militants, a war monitor reported on Saturday. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights stated that army warplanes bombed the town of Maskana and other areas, in the eastern countryside of Aleppo.
Meanwhile, clashes that broke out between the Syrian government forces and the Islamic State militants continues, in eastern Aleppo, resulting in the fall of an unidentified number of casualties among the ranks of the two fighting sides.
Syrian government forces also shelled several areas in Kafr Hamra and Andan towns, in northern Aleppo, while Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) shelled the outskirts of Azaz city, in the northern countryside of Aleppo, but no casualties were reported.
The Syrian opposition, on Sunday, arrested three members of the Syrian regime forces in the city of al-Bab, east of Aleppo, Qasioun News Agency reported. Muntasır Billah Brigade stated on its Facebook page that its heroes managed to arrest three members of the government forces, near Amiyah Village in the countryside of al-Bab City, east of Aleppo. The soldiers were arrested for looting property of citizens in the village, the statement added. Noteworthy, Amiyah Village is located near al-Bab in the opposition-held areas, east of Aleppo.
At least four persons were killed, on Sunday, in a suicide attack on the headquarters of Ahrar al-Sham Movement, in Tal al-Tawkan Village, east of Idlib, a source told Enab Baladi News. The source said that two suicide bombers, wearing explosive belts, blew up themselves, this morning, in the headquarters of ‘Lions of Islam Brigade’, which belongs to Ahrar al-Sham Movement, in the eastern countryside of Saraqib City.
The suicide attack resulted in the killing of at least four persons, including the movement’s resources official Mahrous al-Khatib, in addition to wounding many others. The source also revealed that the deaths are expected to increase due to the severity of the casualties’ injuries that were transferred to Saraqib Hospital, while suggested that the attack was launched by the Islamic State group.
However, no entity or group claimed responsibility for the suicide attack until now. Ahrar al-Sham Movement is widely deployed in Idlib Province, northern countryside of Hama, northern and western countryside of Aleppo, countryside of Damascus and Daraa.
