Turkish fighters have been entering Iraq without the country's consent

Turkish fighters have been entering Iraq without the country's consent Baghdad – Jaafar Al Nasrawi Iraq has demanded its northern neighbour, Turkey, to reveal details of an agreement made with the Kurdish Labour party. Conditions of the agreement include a deal to send fighters to the Iraq Kurdistan province. A statement by Hoshyar Zibary, the Iraqi Minister of Foreign Affairs, said that Iraq officially demands the Turkish embassy in Baghdad to clarify particulars of the deal, which lets militant groups enter Iraqi lands without the knowledge or coordination of the federal Iraqi government.
Zibary added that these procedures are inconsistent with good neighbourly relations and the exchanged respect between the two countries.
Zibary added that Iraq supports all peaceful initiatives between the Turkish government and the armed Kurdish opposition, but it will not accept any Turkish procedures that affect the sovereignty and security of Iraq.
