Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, honoured the winners of the Minister of Interior’s Award

Major-General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, honoured the winners of the Minister of Interior’s Award for Excellence, the Leader Award for the year 2016, and the Dubai Government Excellence Programme Award in its 20th cycle at the Police Excellence Forum.
Al Marri stressed that the forum has become the sponsoring institute for personal excellence of the force’s employees and a forum to reveal those who have excelled in different military ranks and occupational levels.
"In this ceremony, we meet the new elite who have excelled and achieved, and will have a positive effect on the workflow in their police departments and stations," he added.
Al Marri said that participation in the excellence event has been increasing each year. It has reached 237 participants in the field of administrative excellence among 17 categories, with 52 of these securing the first three positions. A total of 792 people has participated in the forum since its launch in 2004.
While participation in the field of occupational excellence has reached 558 among 19 categories, with 52 participants winning the top three spots. The total participation in this category has reached 3,122 since 2004.
