Flood levels in Don Muang district, north of Bangkok, have receded and Don Mueang airport is now dry, Bangkok Post reported on Thursday. The media quoted police as saying that Don Mueang airport was now dry. People who left their vehicles on the airport grounds can now drive them back home, police said. Flight operations at Don Mueang airport have been halted since Oct. 25 after floodwaters swamped its runways. The government\'s Flood Relief Operations Center (FROC) which had used the place as a focal point since early October had to move out and thousands of flood victims taking shelter there were evacuated. The country\'s worst floods in over 50 years have so far claimed over 650 lives and affected more than 13 million people nationwide.
