A Tarco Air plane was forced to make an emergency landing at Cairo Airport on Monday when it started to run out of fuel.

The Sudanese aircraft, which was heading for Damascus, has 24 passengers on board, sources at Cairo Airport said.

After refueling, the Sudanese plane resumed its journey after a 90-minute stoppage.
