A culture ministry initiative to support tourism in Sharm El Sheikh hub will start on Wednesday, said the head of the Tourism Promotion Authority.

In statements Sunday, Sami Mahmoud hailed as "a culture and tourism epic" the authority sponsored initiative.

The nine-day initiative will include free artistic performances at the Roman Theater of the Red Sea resort city, Mahmoud concluded.
