The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced on Wenesday that all its customer service centres across Dubai will remain closed on Thursday to facilitate an annual stock-taking exercise. All customer transactions will be referred to alternative centres affiliated to RTA\'s partners and service providers. Ahmad Mahboob, RTA\'s director of customer service, said: \"We are continuously working to provide best-in-class services and figure out best solutions to clients for the timely clearance of transactions as required, without delay. This has prompted us to divert the tasks entrusted to our centres — including Umm Al Ramool Main Centre, Al Tawar Municipal Centre, Deira Licensing, Al Karama Municipal Centre, Al Barsha Centre, Al Manara Municipal Centre, Al Ittihad Co-op — Al Safa, Al Awir Licensing, and Financial Services Centre at the Head Office — to other alternative centres affiliated to our partners/stakeholders where customers can have their transactions processed.\" A large number of electronic services will however remain accessible, besides the toll-free call centre number 8009090. Insurance firms and vision test centres can also reach the RTA.
