The power failure set off a small fire at around 8:00 pm Wednesday (0100 GMT Thursday, according to airport spokesman Victor Mejia. "There are no takeoffs or landings on either of the two tracks," he said, adding that flights were being diverted to Veracruz in the east, Monterrey in the north, and Guadalajara in the west.
