US Ambassador to Egypt Anne Patterson urged tourists, especially Americans, to visit Luxor, which is known for its magnificent archeological wonders. In statements to MENA, on the sidelines of attending a celebration on the occasion of opening the tomb of Merneptah, the fourth ruler of the 19th Dynasty of Ancient Egypt, Patterson hailed the celebration and the beautiful nature of the governorate. She also commended the efforts exerted by Luxor Governor Medhat Saad and the security authorities to organize this great celebration.
