New Transport Minister Galal Saeed made his first surprise tour of the metro system to check on the level of services and cleanness.

The minister visited the metro stations of Sadat, Al Shohadaa and Kobri El Kubba on the first and second metro lines.

He talked with the commuters about the level of services provided to them and problems facing them.

The minister is expected to hold a meeting later this week with officials of Cairo Metro.
