Sharm El Sheikh International Airport received as many as 28 flights, including 14 international flights carrying 1,531 tourists and 14 domestic ones with 1,054 tourists on board, over the past 24 hours.

According to Maj. Gen. Essam Khedr, the head of operations and crises department in South Sinai, a total of 2,615 tourists of different nationalities left the airport on board 26 flights.
