The Directorate General of Human Resources at the Royal Oman Police organised maritime piracy training course last week. The course was aimed to familiarise the participants with scientific knowledge involving piracy and the preventive measures that need to be taken to curb this menace. The officers were instructed on the legal procedures required during such cases and how to investigate these cases.
