Malaysia Airlines said here Saturday in a statement that it would waive change fees for passengers who wish to make changes to their itinerary to any MH destinations.
It said passengers who wished to postpone or cancel their travel plans can obtain a refund, including for non-refundable tickets.
"Our Enrich passengers will also receive fee waivers for any changes to their travel itinerary, as well as refunds of miles should they choose to cancel their redemption tickets," it said.
The waivers were only applicable from 18 July 2014 until 24 July 2014, for travel between 18 July 18, 2014 until Dec. 31 2014, it added.
Meanwhile, the company gave an update of the latest number of passengers and their nationalities on those onboard MH17 in its latest statement.
According to the statement, there were 192 people (including one dual Netherlands/ U.S. citizen) from Netherlands, 44 ( including 15 crew and two infants) from Malaysia, 27 from Australia, 12 (including one infant) from Indonesia, 10 (including one dual British/South Africa citizen) from Britain, four from Germany, four from Belgium, three from Philippines, one from Canada, one from New Zealand on the MH17.
