Oman’s naval ship Al Sultania Al Omania Al Bushra carried out a rescue operation of an Iranian boat in the Northern Island of Um Al Ghanam in the Musandam Province.

The boat suffered technical failure and a loss of power during the operation of towing a boat heading to Bandar Abbas Port in Iran. 

Musandam Marine Operations received a distress call from the Iranian boat.

The Royal Navy of Oman vessel sailed in response to the distress call.

The distressed boat reached Khasab.
