International Cooperation Minister Sahar Nassr on Thursday left Cairo for Beijing, China, on a several days' visit to take part in the opening ceremony of the Asian Development Fund (ADF).

During her visit, the minister will meet with a number of Chinese officials on ways of boosting bilateral ties.

Earlier, the minister announced that Egypt will be a member of the ADF and that Prime Minister Sherif Ismail assigned her to attend the ceremony.
