A small fire erupted at Ankara's Esenboga Airport and interrupted flights Sunday morning, Turkish media reported. The fire caused a cut in the radar system, preventing flight take-offs and landings for over an hour. According to the report, the fire was brought under control and the airport returned to normal functioning within a couple of hours.
