Washington - KUNA
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) announced on Wednesday that it was extending for another 24 hours its prohibition on all U.S. airlines flying to or from Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv, Israel.
Israeli officials voiced objections to the flight ban when it was announced on Tuesday for a period of 24 hours after rockets fired from Gaza landed near the airport.
However, the FAA extended the ban again on Wednesday due to questions about airline safety as the Israel-Gaza conflict continued.
