Etihad Airways said Monday it would substantially boost flights to Riyadh in Saudi Arabia from a daily service to 13 flights a week from October 30, 2011. The new Riyadh schedule will boost connectivity significantly to a number of key destinations across the airline\'s global network, including the Indian Subcontinent, Indonesia and the Philippines, the Abu Dhabi-based carrier said in a statement. It added that the extra services, to be operated by Airbus A320 and A330 aircraft, will offer greater access for business travellers to explore commercial opportunities in the two Arabian capitals. Etihad Airways launched its services to Riyadh in December, 2004. The airline also offers 13 flights per week to Jeddah and Dammam.
