Tourism indicators for August 2012 in Egypt showed a rise in the number of tourists by 14.4% reaching 10,37785 tourists from 9,07257 tourists compared to August 2011. Figures released by Egypt’s Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS) on its website show that the number of nights tourists stayed in Egypt went up 10.1%. Number of Arab countries tourists also saw a 66% increase reaching 216 tourists this year in August.
