Air France will operate eight weekly Tunis/Marseilles flights, instead of five, starting from October 2, 2011, announced, on Thursday, Jean-Louis Prades, the air company's Country Manager in Tunisia. During a news conference held with Air France Director General for Morocco and Tunisia Laurent Dalage, the  official said these flights would be operated onboard Airbus 319 aircrafts by means of a daily flight and two flights on Saturday. He added that this increase in flights, which is part of a sales offensive from French cities (Marseilles, Nice, Bordeaux and Toulouse), would benefit clients travelling for both business and vacationing. From Tunis, he said, Air France would propose a one-way ticket from 122 Tunisian dinars including VAT. One-way tickets may be bought online, by telephone, from Air France agencies or from travel agencies. Mr. Dalage said the one-way ticket is a test for the French air company which used to have only return tickets, adding that this new programme will certainly strengthen demand on the Tunisia destination.
