Three Hong Kong tourists died in a bus accident in Beijing on Thursday, local police said. The accident occurred in a courtyard in front of a shopping center in Nankou Township, located in the northern suburban district of Changping, around 1:30 p.m. Thursday. A parked tourist bus unexpectedly rolled backward and hit the three tourists, the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau announced in a statement. The tourists, a man and two women, died after emergency treatment failed to save them, the statement said. Police are questioning the driver of the bus, it said.
