As many as 161 tourists of different nationalities visited the Dandara temple in Qena Tuesday.

They arrived on 33 buses and vans as part of a tour of archaeological sites in Upper Egypt.

The tourists are from Russia, the US, France and Britain, said Abdel Hakim el Soghayar, the director of the temple.

He expected the number of tourists to increase during the winter.
