Some 1,372 tourists of different nationalities visited South Sinai cities of Dahab and Saint Catherine over the past 24 hours, head of Dahab Municipality Tarek Lotfi said.

As many as 922 tourists arrived in Dahab city, including 354 foreigners, 551 Egyptians and 17 Arabs.

They visited several tourist attractions in the city and went on Safari in Wadi Qena and Al Twailat villages, he said.

Also, they toured nature reserves in Abo Jalom and Blue Lagoon villages, he noted.

Meanwhile, 450 tourists of different nationalities visited Saint Catherine city over the past 24 hours, said head of Saint Catherine Municipality el Sayed Abdel Sadeq.

Their tours included Saint Catherine's Monastery and Bedouin camps in addition to several other religious and archaeological sites.
