Writing has always been a passion of seasoned author Irwin Hinds, who has previously published four other fiction novels. His newest novel, “Moments Before Dawn” (published by Trafford Publishing), takes readers on a tropical cruise where the fate of a fortune will be decided. “Dishonesty and greed are not beneficial or redeeming qualities,” jokes Hinds. “A broad segment of society is represented in the story.” Wealthy widower and businessman Demetrius Fargo has led a good, long life and is now ready to choose an heir to his fortune. He plans on leaving it to his biological daughter Yolanda, who wants nothing more than her father’s fortune. Demetrius also has an adopted daughter named Zelda, who has been his hardworking and modest caregiver as he begins to slow down in his old age. As the three come together for a Caribbean cruise, Yolanda and Bartholomew Fargo, Demetrius’ first cousin and business partner, plot to get rid of Demetrius and take his fortune, but unknown to all, Demetrius has changed his will. An excerpt from “Moments Before Dawn”: “No one in the group had reservations for shore excursions, so they decided on their own walking tour of the capital, Charlotte Amalie. They left the ship with every intention of executing their plan but were overwhelmed with offers from drivers of safari-styled taxis. These were nothing more than pickup trucks with seats at the back with roofs over them. There were no seat belts to any of the seats, and although it was never mentioned, it was obvious that passengers were riding at their own risk.” Source: PRWEB
