Tripoli - MENA
A Libyan court postponed Sunday the trial of Saadi Gaddafi, the son of Libya's former leader Muammar Gaddafi, over charges of murdering his football teammate Bashir Riani till July 19.
The trial was postponed upon a request by Gaddafi's lawyer who wanted to have more time to read the case file.
The Attorney General's office is expected to bring other charges to Saadi, including the suppression on civilians during the 2011 turmoil, and support for insurgents in southern Libya aiming to overthrow the current government.
