The Cairo Criminal Court on Saturday adjourned till November 22 the trial of Mubarak-era interior minister Habib el Adly and 12 other defendants over corruption charges.

The defendants are accused of seizing two billion pounds from the funds allocated to the Interior Ministry from 2000 to 2011, during the era of former president Hosni Mubarak.

Adly served as Mubarak's minister of interior from 1997 until 2011.
